Where Do I Go After Death?

Depending on religion, different people will have different opinions. According to the Bible, there are only two destinations after death: heaven or hell. Hell wasn’t created for humans but for Lucifer and his followers. So, if we are followers of the Devil and not Jesus, then we will also go to hell with him.
What is Heaven
Heaven is real. It’s a glorious place where God dwells, a place where Jesus is preparing a home for us (John 14:2). One of my favorite chapters is Revelation 21, where it talks about a new heaven and a new earth. "A Holy City, the New Jerusalem, will come down out of heaven from God, and God Himself will dwell among us." It will be like this world, but more perfect—beyond measure.

In heaven, there will be no more sorrow, no more death, mourning, or pain. It is our final home! We will all be brothers and sisters, living with God our Father for eternity.
Now, just like we can’t walk into the president’s home without an invitation, we can’t just walk into heaven without one either. So, can we enter heaven? Yes, absolutely! But only through putting our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, our Savior. Because we all have sins, we cannot enter heaven on our own. But here’s the good news: Jesus came to open heaven’s door for us by paying the price for our sins on the cross. Only through Him can we enter heaven.

What is Hell
Hell is just as real as Heaven. It's a place of judgment, where people who rejected Christ (unbelievers) are sent after death. Jesus described hell as "eternal fire" (Matthew 25:41), "eternal punishment" (Matthew 25:46), "darkness," and a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 8:12).
No matter how bad you imagine hell to be—it's worse. You wouldn’t even want your worst enemy to end up there. Hell is ultimately an eternal separation from God.
So, how do you avoid going to hell? By acknowledging that you are a sinner and accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. More on The Gospel.
What Happens When I Die
Whatever decision you make in this life will affect where you go after you die. There are only two choices—One leads to Heaven, and the other leads to Hell. Believe it or not, this will be THE MOST important decision you will ever make in your life.
You accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior
You do not accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior
Heaven is God's home, and in order for us to share in His home, we must accept Jesus Christ—His Son—whom He sent to die for our sins.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
